Terms and Conditions
Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Paula Muñoz. Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the term “this site” refers to this website. By using this website or booking any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this website.
General Terms
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason at any time. You must be at least 18 years of age to make purchases on this website.
Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once payment (where applicable) has been successfully received. Private tour enquiries do not constitute a confirmed booking until you receive written confirmation from us.
Prices
All prices displayed on this website are in Euro (€) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify our prices at any time prior to booking confirmation.
Participation Requirements
Our tours are walking tours and involve continuous walking over uneven surfaces, inclines and stairways. Unfortunately, for the safety of all participants, our tours are not suitable for persons with mobility or walking impairments that would prevent them from safely completing the tour.
Children under the age of 10 are not permitted to participate. Our tours are designed as cultural and historical experiences intended for older children and adults, and younger children generally do not benefit from or fully enjoy the experience.
Participants aged between 10 and 14 years must be accompanied throughout the tour by a parent, legal guardian or another responsible adult aged 18 years or over.
Customer Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated meeting point on time. We will wait for a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled starting time. After this period the tour may commence without late arrivals, who will be deemed to have forfeited their booking and will not be entitled to a refund.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically able to participate in the tour and should wear suitable clothing and footwear appropriate for the activity and prevailing weather conditions. We also recommend bringing drinking water and suitable sun protection, particularly during the summer months.
Changes and Cancellations
Tour itineraries, schedules, meeting points and durations may occasionally need to change due to weather conditions, public events, transport disruptions, safety considerations, minimum participant requirements or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where we are required to cancel a tour due to circumstances within our control, customers will be offered an alternative date or, where appropriate, a full refund.
Any customer cancellation requests should be submitted in writing using the contact details provided on this website. Any applicable refund shall be subject to the cancellation policy communicated at the time of booking.
Force Majeure
We shall not be held responsible for delays, interruptions, cancellations or failure to perform our obligations where such events arise from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, public emergencies, transport disruptions or other unforeseen events.
Customer Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove any participant whose behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, abusive, intoxicated or likely to negatively affect the safety or enjoyment of other guests. In such cases no refund shall be due.
Photography and Marketing
During our tours we may occasionally take photographs or video recordings for promotional and marketing purposes, including publication on our website and social media channels. These images may include participants.
If you do not wish to appear in any photographs or recordings used for marketing purposes, you must notify us in writing before the commencement of your tour. We will make every reasonable effort to respect such requests.
Personal Belongings
Participants remain solely responsible for their personal belongings throughout the tour. MaltaLatin.Tours accepts no responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of personal property during the tour.
Limited Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MaltaLatin.Tours shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, damage or expense arising from participation in our tours or use of this website.
Our total liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant booking.
